My truck for example is a 2018 ram 1500 that has the factory premium projectors and I can only aim those up and down using one screw that’s on the top of the headlight that you access through one of those holes on top of the fenders. There’s two of them and right of hand, I don’t remember which one is which but the majority reason for this post is why is there two holes on top of each fender?
Now from the looking I’ve done around online, I’ve heard two different things that says the reason why there’s two holes is because one hole is for the factory projectors and the other hole is for the plain reflector headlights- not sure if it’s the quad style, the older open reflector style or both and then also what I read, supposedly the heavy duty trucks use both of those holes because supposedly one hole is the aim the headlight up and the other hole is to aim the headlight down so, what’s the deal? Why is there two sets of holes up there with with arrows stamped into the steel that points to both holes?
