After going through a blizzard last week and realizing how bad the stock tires are, I am looking at upgrading to some beefier thread. I had a set of M/T tires on my Dakota and loved the look and sound of them, so I'm looking for another set for my stock 2015 Ram 1500 Express with the standard 275/60r20 tires.

I found a few sets of M/T tires I'd like look further into, however I don't know if I should be on the safe side and go with 33x12.5R20 or if I can get away with a little bit bigger and get 35x12.5R20 since I intend on getting a 6 inch lift later on. Will there be enough clearance for the 35 with a stock set up?

275/65r20... Get your lift, upgrade to 35x12.50r20.

Theres 100s of variables that could come into play here. That size will fit fine, no rubbing... Others will too.. And try a google search, may be a huge help.

Welcome.

I don't believe 35's will fit on a stock setup. I'd wait until you did your lift for the 35's.

At stock height, no you won't be fitting 35's. You'll need at least a level to do that. However you could level it with Bilstein 5100 adjustable front struts now and then use them with the 6" lift down the road. All you're paying for then is the install cost and alignment.

You will also need wheel spacers to clear a 12.5 wide tire on a stock rim.
