People who upgraded to the ra3. from what I understand you had to get the antitheft code from the dealer. Is that correct?

Next question. Has anyone tried to get the dealer upgrade to navigation after swapping it in?

My wife has an 8.4" non nav that the dealer upgraded to navigation with just a phonecall to uconnect. Could this be done after the radio has been swapped into a new truck?

I think it's like 500 bucks and dealer will heat up nav on the RA3. I'd make sure you have donor vehicle VIN!

Yeah that's what I'm worried about. I know it works on a ra3 in a stock car but not after a swap with a different vin

I'm still a tad hesitant to pay for navigation on either head unit. Back before the craze of putting the RA3 or RA4 into our trucks, all I saw was threads about problem after problem with the 8.4 and how much the navigation sucked.
