Question on Radiator drain on 2019 ram 1500 V6

Have the 5th gen 2019 and have over 120K on it already and no issues. I wanted to do a radiator drain, and found the drain screw. However it just keeps spinning and no fluid is draining (I did release/open the reserve cap). Do I have to pull it out? Or is it broken? there is only 1 online video and it was not clear.

Loosen it and pull the eared part towards you and make sure the drain hole isn't plugged with sand.
