Hello, I'm new to the forum and am really interested in leveling my truck with Bilsteins. I'm sure this questions been asked millions of times, and I tried to find some answers.

Anyways, will the bilstein shocks cause any vibrations and have any detrimental effects to my truck in the long run?
Also, where do I buy? I looked on summit racing and they had a bunch of choices and I wasn't sure which was the right shock.
Will I have to replace all 4 shocks to level my truck?
And last, what is the actual lift measurement I get from bilsteins, will I get a total of 2.8 inches just in the front?

Thanks for any replies, they're much appreciated.

Welcome!!

The bilstein's are the best way to level the front of your truck IMO. I have not heard any negative effects that come with the bilstein's unless they are installed incorrectly.

I would suggest getting them from ajusa.com. You can check out the link I have added below.

Bilstein 24-187367 Monotube Shock Absorber | AJUSA.COM

You will only need the front shocks to level the truck out, unless you want to upgrade the rear, which is your choice.

And thanks for the link, on the site their are a few options which should I choose? And what size tires do you think I could clear with the full 2.8 inches on the front?

i want to just add to this. if there are any vibrations(which only happen in 4 wheel drive under hard acceleration) it is not the bilstiens or any other level kit for that matter. It is the increased cv angle.

To piggy back off NdRoosta

Will having the bilstiens @2.1-2.8 and 295/65/20's add wear and tear on the cv joints or any other part in the front of the suspension in the long run?
