I'm currently letting the wallet cool off but I'm already eyeing my next mod. I made the mistake of getting a 2014 Sport 2wd 8 speed with 3.21 gears and I'm now I'm considering regearing to 3.92. I've done a ton of reading but I still have a few questions.

I have a 4" lift with 35s and I do 80% of my driving in the city. Usually I range from 30-50 mph and have to stop at a light at least once every 10 blocks. Despite living in South Florida, when I do drive on the highway, my truck is constantly downshifting to get over the hills created by over passes.

I know that going to 3.92s lowers your mpg under perfect driving conditions but how would it affect me taking into account that I'm constantly having to accelerate from a full stop? Have any of ya'll regeared your 8 speed? I feel like the 3.92s might give me the same if not better mpg. Before ya'll start mpg bashing I know trucks aren't about mpg but I'm averaging 11.5 mpg according to my evic (I know it's probably wrong) and I really don't want to drop much lower.

i have a 14' Sport 2wd with the 8spd and 3.92's and do most of my driving in town as well. I cant really compliment on how "often" it shifts due to coming from a 5spd Evo before this but i dont feel it shifting anymore than it should. I live in Vegas so it is pretty flat here too. On average on the EVIC I'm showing between 16.5 - 17.2mpg on mine and i reset it every fill up. My truck is also stock though and i dont usually have my foot into it too hard, usually just putting around town or moderately on the gas.
