You don't need a trans cooler, that one is plenty big enough, same one I have, a lot of the other ones have one half that size. Your all set man as far as that goes
Well I ordered the 2800 from edge and the dorman oil cooler but if it doesn't fit I'll just run the stock one and keep an eye on trans temps for a while before I feel comforable

10/4, trans temp will be fine. I am running the same transcooler you have on now with my 3600 9" stall and mostly do nothing but race. That will be a good setup for you buddy

when installing my trans temp guage can i just weld a **** on my tranny pan when i weld a drain plug on it? and also how would i go about filling up the tranny with fluid since im taking everything off? i know Ineed to fill the converter up and tranny but what about the tranny cooler? can i just fill up the tranny on the higher end of the dipstick then let it flow through everything and check it again or do i risk running something dry doing that?

I recommend calling Edge and speak to Andre and tell him what you are doing and what you have. He will custom spec one for you to match you're needs. I've done this twice so far and have been pleased with both converters. I ran a 2800 first with the 545 and went to a 3000 stall with the 46RH.
