I have a 2014 1500 Express with the radio upgraded from the 3.0” to the 5.0” RA2. I have been playing Spotify with an iPhone 8 using the USB connection with no issues. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 15 and now there is an electronic “click” that occurs intermittently when I play Spotify the same way as before. I tried using Bluetooth and the clicking went away but I now don’t have any sound for directions when using Google maps on the phone. This worked flawlessly with the iPhone 8. It still pauses the song to give the directions like it used to but there is no sound for them.

Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

Try turning up the volume using the knob when the notification is meant to be playing. IN addition, I believe iPhone has a setting specific for playing navigation prompts as bluetooth notifications.

Thanks for the input but, ideally, I would prefer to play Spotify through the USB without the “click” coming from the speakers. To me, it seemed like the Bluetooth was kind of unstable and each time I shut the truck off and came back in, it was a bit of a pain to get the phone to reconnect and, once it did, I had to go in and manually start Spotify again.

It’s probably something I’m doing so I just have to do a little more research. Thanks again.
