RA2 Bluetooth

I have a 2017 tradesman with the base radio with Bluetooth. I have the buttons on the steering wheel and microphones in the headliner. I'm buying an RA2 off eBay, so I can add a backup camera. I'm assuming that since my truck already has Bluetooth it should be 100% plug and play. Am I correct in this assumption? Thanks.

You will need the mopar backup camera kit if you dont already have one, then you will need the dealer to activate the camera once installed, after that the rest should be plug n play..including your bluetooth..

I just did what you described, but had to also add the Mirror w/ Microphone to my 2015 Tradesman. The Radio swap was plug and play for me. If you don't have it already, you will need the unlock code for the new radio. To get that, you will need the S/N and the original VIN (VIN also needed for UConnect updates).

Thanks. Actually I found somebody who was selling the RA2 and camera kit combo for only $200. Couldn't pass that up.

I got the VIN from the seller. How much did the dealer charge ya to activate the camera?

It was $300 CAD for the whole install, which included activating the camera.
