I did but when I installed my Vararam I didn't make my cuts as close as I should have. Besides I've got a couple different ideas I would like to try with the Vararam and the cover. That's why I would like to buy a couple, I'm wanting to do my own R&D....

What is the benefit from cutting it so close? I cut mine out so it was completely open.

I was expecting more myself. I need one to replace the old one that I scrapped when I did the engine install, which is why I looked. ~$30 is worth a new one to me, hope that helps ya.
