Radio Locked?? Help!

I just added a new Mufflex and disconneced the battery, like always when adding anything new. When I started the truck back up, my 8.4A display says "radio locked, please start vehicle". It rand for a couple minutes but still nothing. Any ideas anyone??

how many #'s is it showing to enter?

It's not showing anything that allows to enter numbers. It only shows "radio locked, please start vehicle". I read in the OM a note that said the Uconnect and "other options" will be locked if battery power is lost, but it doesn't say anything about getting it to work again. I tried pushing every button I could think of. The radio is working and playing, just no display on the touchscreen.

you are going to have to take it to your dealer. that has not happened to me but i have a 2012 not a 2013...good luck

That's what I was afraid of. It's funny that the OM tells you it will lock if the battery power is lost, but don't tell you how to get it unlocked.

try the reset by holding the volume and audio button in together for about 5seconds

^^ yeah this worked with mine. If you hold the buttons for a few seconds the radio will do a hard reboot. Apparently this is common.

Well, could not get it back on last night, but this morning when I was leaving for work, radio came on and display was normal, all functions good.
Guess it just had to think about it over night.
