Ram 1500 2012 Ambient Sensors

Hi ramforum.com community!,

I have a 2012 ram 1500 Outdoorsman truck, which had a broken driver side mirror just last week from a snowplowing tractor!... While browsing through this sites threads I found out that some Ram models had their ambient sensors on the driver side and that some people had issues while replacing mirrors... I was wondering if my 2012 Ram truck driver side mirror had an ambient sensors?

Also I would need advice on which OEM part number is the best fit for my truck. I found these two numbers over car/truck part dealers websites but couldn't make up my mind on which one would be the best fit...
-OEM# 68143805AB
-OEM# 55372071AH

I'm looking for a powered, heated, w/towing, w/puddle lamp, /w signal mirror (Driver's side)

Temp sensor in the mirror started in '13, so your 2012 won't need that

Thus, a mirror with OEM# 68143805AB should work just fine right?

Yep that should give you a textured black, puddle and signal light, heater power tow mirror
