I don't do any towing and only have the factory supplied Class 4 Receiver.

However, I am curious if anyone in the forum has this receiver and how would anyone justify buying one.

Maybe a matching Ball Hitch (Class 5 that matches the 2 X 2 inch of the above CURT Receiver)?

Total waste of money for a 1500. A class 4 is plenty for a 1500 tow rating. If your trailer needs a class 5 hitch you need a 2500 not a 1500.
