RAM 2016 Limited: with or without the factory running boards?

Which option do you think look the best for a 2016 RAM Limited ?

with or without the factory running boards ?

(if without I would most probably install the AMP powersteps)

You won't see the AMP units unless the door is open so do you like the look with running boards or without?

I like the OEM wheel to wheel look and functionality, if you need to aces the mid point of the bed area the wheel to wheel is nice . You don't have to open a door and wait for the step to extend .
Not sure if AMP offers a wheel to wheel option , maybe only acess in doors ...

^ lmao @ DRkNESS. Too funny :). I too don't like the running board look. Kinda cheesy. I got the Amp research steps and they work great and everyone seems to be impressed when they pop out. I get lots of complements.

I'm thinking about having the amp steps installed also. Only concern is has anyone had any issues with them freezing up with ice or snow? Or any other issues to worry about?

I had power running board on my Ford F150 Harley Davidson & loved them.

They were almost clones of the AMP Powersteps. I had issues with the F150 version with freezing so I'm sure that AMP has factored that into their step as well.

I found the power running board place the running board a bit further out from the truck when deployed....a more natural position for stepping into the vehicle.

When I buy my 2016 Ram, I'll be opting the the AMPs Powerstep.

I found mine for $1,300 plus the stainless trim and the pass through harness and good ol' CA sales tax I was out the door for just under $1,500.

Now I own a 2011 so I'm assuming that's why it's a little cheaper. I could be wrong as that's how the wife and I ended up with (4) kids lol. :)

If money is not an issue, AMP is amazing. I prefer the look of trucks with running boards which is why I went that route. That and I don't have 2gs to drop.
