Ram 2500 2016 5.7 question

New to me 2016 2509 slt.

2 questions is there supposed to be a cover on top of the motor like my 1500 5.7? And number 2 , i can’t find the cylinder deactivation in the radio. Nor does it come up on my dash like my 1500, do all 5.7 ?

The 5.7 in the 2500 will not have MDS (cylinder deactivation)

That is why they built the 6.4l, to bring MDS to the HD.

I do believe they do not have the engine cover, but I could be wrong there

Yes they have covers. Mine went in the trash. Best part of the 5.7 in a 2500. NO MDS!!!
