Ram 2500 UAM Radio swap questions.

My truck is a 2022 Ram 2500 with the 5" Uconnect and I simply want to swap in a factory 8.4 Apple car play radio, the research I've done thus far is a UAM is a plug and play, but I don't think it came in that yr model. Can someone lead me in the right direction?

Read through the audio and electronics section of Gen 5, answers should be there. I believe any 8.4 from 2018 on should fit but do a research in Gen 5 Audio thread to verify, but be careful of 2018s as they had delamination issues. Make sure when you buy that you get actual sticker pics with part number to verify what year and model you are getting. UAM (UAS) is non-nav, UAQ has nav.

You could check car-parts.com for your vehicle, it will show interchangeable part numbers. Pre-2018 did not have Android auto or car play.
