4th time I've had to replace the heater core. Dealer says Mopar only warranty one time. Last time replacement November 2024. Is this correct on Mopar will only warranty one time ( they will not warranty replacement which was covered last time under warranty)

My understanding is that while a vehicle may have a warranty, once a part is replaced the specific part has its own warranty that covers it. So if subsequent problem was after that replacement warranty expired then one would have to pay for new repair. But if you have an extended warranty read the fine print.

It is interesting that it has been replaced 4 times. Were the repairs all MOPAR parts? Or were they rebuilt or used parts? What specifically was the failure for each?

How about telling us what the reason was for them to be replaced, plugged up or leaks, if plugged up sounds like someone used HOAT coolant instead of OAT....

You have SERIOUS issues if you have needed to replace it 4 times... maybe its was not installed right? or possibly your mixing coolants?. What issues are you having? a 3rd and 4th gen ram should only ever need a heater core once in its life. I have replaced over 60 heater cores on these trucks never seen them fail more then once.

Fwiw, I've replaced the heater core twice in a buddies 02 3rd Gen. Aftermarket cores, they seem to always leak at the oring where the tubes connect to the core. Priced a factory unit this last time and we both decided it wasn't worth the extra cost considering the age of the truck.

4 times though on such a new truck is pretty wild. I'd also like to know the failure mode.
