When i drive my truck with the heat on i dont get much heat. 82 degrees on driver side and 122 on passenger side. I had hot heat last year after I replaced the heater core. Over the summer my blend door motor quit. When I pulled the dash and replaced the motor I may have swapped the heater hoses around by accident. Will this cause me to have little heat? I plan on doing another heater core flush in the next day or 2. One hose gets hot and the other hose isn't near as hot. Is there a diagram on which hose originally should be the inlet and outlet? I know the inlet gets hot. But I am wondering if I reversed the hoses by accident. Did I do any damage of i reversed them?

I do not believe it will make any difference.
In fact, I have seen some posts recommending it.

Any updates after about 2 months?

Sometimes these posts slip through the cracks, but usually, many members would have replied long ago. Sorry you didn't get more attention to help solve your problem.

I hope that you were able to restore your driver's side heat already. I wouldn't have lasted a week, up here with the Polar Bears.
This info will likely help someone searching for a solution.

I've read many posts here at Ram Forum and elsewhere where the heater core has been replaced to restore the heat on both sides, and a short time later, the owners continue to experience problems with a lack of heat on the driver's side.

From what I gather, the sediment that clogged the first heater core is likely still inside the coolant system and will likely collect in the new heater core.

Read this thread to the end. The member finally gets positive results with repeated flushing of the heater core.

I found this picture online that suggests why a partially blocked heater core could impact only the driver's side heat.
