I do not have them but I want them badly. If I could find someone with Ramboxes on a 6'4" bed in True Blue Pearlcoat that didn't want them, I'd pay to have someone swap the beds for me. There's a rifle rack made that will hold two rifles in the box and I would love to be able to use that.

When I had them I use to put my rifle inside the box while driving around my farm. Very easy place to store them!

Sorry if this has been beat to death on here, trying to get feedback on the ram box whether or not you guys that have them would buy the truck with that option again. Dave Smith Auto in Idaho doesn't stock any pw with the ram box saying they are not a popular option.

One of my favorite features of my truck. I've never had mine warp. But I stand on mine when messing with my tent. And I noticed that maybe my fat ass might be a bit much for the drivers side one. LOL

Love them. Actually this is the main reason I purchased the Limited RAM 2500 because they do come with the RAM Boxes. I previously owned an Avalanche with a similar design and couldn't find another truck with the identical setup. Very pleased with them since I can load my tools and other items for quick access in a lockable-water proof compartment. The RAM Boxes only take up space in the bed that I normally would not be able to use anyway. You can lock/unlock both Boxes with the FOB or door handle which makes it even more convenient than my Avalanche.

I have a 17 larmie edition powerwagon with ram boxes. And i like them besides they leak a bit. Not sure what the issue is, but besides that very useful.

They make a diamondback cover for the RB now. Waiting til new truck time and that will be my first purchase. Just put the wheeler up top and head out!
i need to check that out, i ordered a diamondback cover but then this covid19 **** hit the fan. My cover was the last order they had received when their governor shut them down as a "non essential" company.

If you want a cover that hold up to 1600lb on top then you can’t get the ram boxes. That was my issue as I wanted both. So I payed for the aluminum boxes that mount underneath. The upside is I still have room underneath the boxes to store my Jerry cans. The downside is no drain plug or cooler insulation for the beer everyone is so excited about.
I don’t have any pictures of the ATV on top... maybe I will drive it up there just for you;)

Man that must be high to load a 4 wheeler.
I find mine is pretty high but I know I should grab longer ramps...
Sweet setup thought, really well made.

Was hard on my last truck to load the ATV because it had a 6 inch lift and only a 5 1/2 foot bed so I can only get 10 foot ramps but on this truck I can have 12 foot ramps that fold in half fit perfect.

I’ve had a 2011 with Rambox and now have a 2016 2500 crew with them. I really like them. I haven’t had any issues- no water in them. I’m able to keep a lot of loose things in them instead of in cab. You won’t miss the bed space. 1451394F-83BF-404F-8AAF-6337B8A1B673.jpeg

I have had the RBs and loved them for their 'handiness' and their help in helping me better organize things. The problem, and a big one for me, is that I also use a bed cover and I have yet to find a fully 'weather proof' bed cover than can be used in conjunction with the RBs. Thus, my '19 Bighorn is sans RBs for that reason alone.

True dat.
I have a really nice BakFlip but it is not rain proof at all. Something about the gap between the rear walls and the tailgate, I don't think there's a tonneau maker out there can truly close that off. The rest of the perimeter of the cover tho is as rain proof as a regular bed covers are. All of em let something in a little bit.

Have you tried a automotive door gasket - rectangular strip with glue on one side.

My cover came with some to fill in the gaps.

I don't know if the cover fading has been addressed. Don't get me wrong, in addition the amount of beer and ice you can put into these things, I also have used them for grocery bags, tools, etc. But my 2011 plastic covers have faded so much that they are grey/white. I've tried various "coatings" over the years with only mixed results. Always fading back.

Same issue as well but doesn't bother me anymore. Happy to have them for the added utility.
