I am waiting on the same thing for my 2026 Rebel. The trailer light will randomly appear with a variety of trailer lengths. Initially, they assumed that I was part of the last recall. I knew that my VIN showed no recalls and they confirmed it. After having my truck all day, they said they were able to determine that there was a new recall coming out and my truck would be included in it. With that said, the suggested I wait until it is announced. Of course, 2+ weeks later and I am still waiting. It's not a big deal until I want to use my trailer connections. :(

After getting the runaround for the last month and a half on this issue I decided to go directly to the parts department where I purchased the truck. I also was told by the service department it would be 3-4 months. I contacted RamCares and was told the parts were available. I contacted the parts department directly as I said and was told that Ram is only allocating one module per dealership every 15 days. I fortunately kept records of every one I had spoken too and the parts manager said clearly I had fallen through the cracks. He informed me because so many individuals I had spoken to had dropped the ball he would move me to the next order date of April 8th and the parts should be in within ten days of being ordered. I would highly recommend keeping a record of who/when you spoke to someone about this and stay on top of them by calling weekly to get updates on your status. I also think the dealers are stalling customers so they can replace the parts on the trucks on their lots first. Squeaky wheel and all that.

I would like to know exactly why my tax dollars are being used for NHTSA when NHTSA has no enforcement regarding getting safety recalls corrected in a timely manner. They are as bad as the dealership when you call them. They issue a recall but don’t do anything if Ram says they can’t fix the issue for another five years. It’s a a big joke on the consumer.

If you would like to get the attention of @RamCares on this forum, mentioning them preceded by an @ symbol will send them a notification. Otherwise, they will not be aware of your concerns.

And PLEASE use line breaks in your posts. Many of us struggle to read a massive block of text, and I know many members who will not even bother to read it.

Obtaining assistance on forums is often more successful with more exposure.
Why not add a few line breaks to attract more readers?
