There’s a lot brewing at Ram, and if the brand’s new boss is to be believed, the next year and a half could be packed with announcements. After a quiet stretch, the truckmaker looks set to make some serious noise.

Tim Kuniskis, the former head of Dodge who’s now running Ram, says the brand will unveil 25 production-related announcements over the next 18 months. The first one is scheduled for June 8, marking the beginning of what Kuniskis described as a major new chapter for the company. The comments came via LinkedIn, just ahead of the New York Auto Show.

The headline says “25 New Models in 18 months”, but what the Ram CEO actually says is “25 production-based announcements over the next 18 months”. Then the article continues on with the usual, oft repeated speculation…

Better include a truly new HD lineup with the Cummins' wick turned up.

New models or not, if they can't get pricing under control, they can offer up the best wiz-bang whatever. If folks don't have the resources, they simply can't put it into their garage.
Good point. I will say that a friend of mine had been looking for a truck since last year but was put off by pricing. Prices seemed obscene (found Maverick's with $54K MSRP). To make matters worse Ford, GM, Ram and Toyota were not offering much for discounts. He finally found a dealer holding a 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn (this was his first choice, anyways) that was willing to discount $16+K off of retail. I think the other manufacturers are coming down as well.

Agree, prices are sky high. Make a simple truck for a simple guy and make the world a great place again. Do not need any luxury anything, just build to last. And bring back the manual transmission so a guy can do his own shifting.

I wish RAM would bring back the 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel. I'd order one again in a heartbeat, but right now there is no Diesel option unless I select a 2500/3500 with the 12K Cummings option. The V6 Turbo Diesel I ordered in my 2022 1500 was only 5K. I've had it for over 3 years and have never had a problem and it gets great MPG. Never understood why it was discontinued.

Blah, blah, blah..."...smaller Ram..." I won't believe the Dakota (or whatever the hell it will be called) has returned until I see it for sale on the Official Ram website. I won't hold my breath for V8 engine option availability either...
