I have a 2016 ram 1500 with a 5.7 hemi in it. I recently hydrolocked my engine and am curious if anyone knows of people putting bigger engines into their 1500’s?

Use all the timing cover pieces/ intake / oil pan etc., off your 5.7 and a 6.4 is basically a bolt-in,but you'll need to have it tuned to get the most out of it. Any 6.4 after 2017 has the good BGE block, before that the 6.4 car motors had the older lighter duty block even if they were a 6.4 SRT motor. When I priced out a new 6.4 through the dealer a few years back, they weren't as much money as I thought they'd be,and had a decent warrenty. If you're thinking of buying a rebuilt engine ,check dealer pricing on them to.
Hit up some of the facebook pages, there's a few guys who've swapped 6.4's .
Join Tuned Rams or High Performance Rams on facebook and you'll find a couple of the guys with a 6.4 swapped truck
