Looking to build up a set of front QA1 lowered coil overs for my 17 Ram Regular Cab Hemi. I am in contact with them now but Need to find out the current front end weight on the ground. Also need to find out how long the current shock is at its max extended and compressed. Any help would be great, I am sure many owners would go this route for a 2", 3" and a 4" front drop.

Yes. I'm sure they can calculate the spring rate you will need. As far as shock length and travel I looked up the dementions of the Vikings B287 being offered for the ram . They are 9.45 compressed, 14.80 fully extended, with a recommended 11.5- 12.75 ride height. This is good for a 0-3 inch drop. If you are going lower than 3 inches get a shorter shock.

No problem. I was actually thinking of doing this myself. Viking has coilovers too. The Crusader #B387 is the same as the B287 but with a threaded body.

MOE'S PERFORMANCE is currently working on a coil over kit and they are supposedly weeks away from releasing it...

If you need to know the actual axle weight on the ground find a CAT scale. For about $12 you can get a print out of the actual axle weight, a lot guys run their trucks/trailers over them to set up WDH. You'll probably want to make sure the tank is full.

Wow is this really true?? That would be awesome. I definitely would be in on this. I hope this is accurate.

Matt posted on Facebook... prototypes were done... Inez arms and Viking shocks with a "custom" coil for out trucks... Just waiting on supplies to catch up with demand because of Covid-19 ….

They are revamping their website and have stopped sales/production till July 6th....
