Ram OEM Tonneau cover question

First time RAM owner, purchased a used 2017 Laramie Crew cab.
It has a Mopar roll up Tonneau, but i notice only one side has the lock release.
Are both sides supposed to have this?

My Lopro has the release on the left side only

Mine is left side only as well.
