ram radio locked

I bought a stock radio from a seller on ebay. When I hooked it up, it asked for a 4 digit anti theft code. At first I thought i was setting up a new code. that is not the case. I tried 2 different codes and it locked me out. I did finally get the correct code from the seller, however it says "incorrect code. Radio locked. Please wait 30 minutes. It has been 24 hours and it still says that. Is there a way to reset this so I can enter the correct code?

Cycle power to the radio. There's a fuse under the hood next to the brake booster (right side) that is for the radio.

I tried that and it is the same. I also tried disconnecting the battery for an hour. The same thing comes up.

Sounds like it's the wrong code. You can try buying one here or try getting the dealer parts department to get it for you, but that'***** or miss, depending on how good the counter guys are.

It won't let me enter the code. It still says radio locked please wait 30 minutes. I tried disconnecting the battery for an hour and touching the battery cables together for 1/2 hour. Still nothing.

I had the same problem when I swapped an RA1 in my 2016 ram to an RA2 from my 2019 ram parts truck. You need the vin on your truck and serial number of the stereo, go to the dodge dealership and they will give you the anti theft code. As for the 30 minute lock out you have to have the stereo powered on for 30 minutes then it will unlock and let you enter your code. After 3 wrong tries it will lock again for 30 minutes.
