Not sure this is the right place to post my question. If not, mod please correct.
I installEd a set of Husky mud flaps on my 2020 RAM Laramie. Front went on without issue. The rear flap attach points had to be modified because the inner rear wheel well liner was much different then (I guess) what is the standard. You can see in the attached photo that the inner wheel well liner curves more sharply toward the fender, leaving the end attach point on the mud flap in the air. I attached the flap where I could but was wondering why the liner isn't wider at the end for a better fit - or is the liner itself of normal/usual design and the Husky flap designed incorrectly. Both rear liners are the same and the Husky flap is suppose to be for my model of RAM. I’ve looked at YT videos and the liner are wider, fitting the mud flap better.
Everything is attached solid, so there’s not problems, I am just curious/wondering about the normal or usual shape of the wheel liner.
Thanks.
