Ram soft tonneau question

Folks, have a 2018 Ram 1500 Harvest edition.
Have the RAM soft roll-up tonneau.
Question, is the rubber gasket that is on the back of the tonneau supposed to be on top of the tailgate or in the front of the tailgate when you close the tailgate?
I am getting water in the box by the tailgate and noticed that there is a 1/4" gap between the gasket and the tailgate.
I've tried to readjust the tonneau yet if I pull the whole assembly back toward the tailgate the front gasket leaks.
Comments, ideas, suggestions would be appreciated.

Chopperman1, do I readjust the tonneau assembly to slide back to get the gasket to lay on the top of the tailgate? Advise would be appreciated.
