Another useless conversation with somebody in India who knows nothing about nothing.
Interesting. Pretty sure the person who answered my call was American. What options are you choosing? I selected the one that was for dealers inquiring about claim status.

I've spoken to one American out of countless calls, after complaining my case manager hasn't called back I was finally transferred to him. I still haven't gotten a call other than the transmission will be there July 27th. Absolutely useless.

Is this your powerwagon that needs a new transmission?

No. The 1500 my son uses for work. The 6 speed is on back order and nobody at either Ram or the current dealer will cancel the backorder and get one of the transmissions in stock at other dealerships in bordering states. The dealership it's at doesn't have anyone who can rebuild transmissions, either.

It's a nightmare of lies and buck passing.

Is there any car company more mismanaged than Stellantis in the US right now?

"Lifetime" warranty outsourced to India

Parts on back order

@RamCares doesn't answer pings or messages

Ram Cares phone line gets you an Indian who doesn't know anything other than someone will call you back within one business day

No ETA for parts

Good luck to the people who fall for the new "10 year power train" warranty. I wouldn't warranty a blender or lawn mower with Stellantis.

Try getting an american on the line for Centurylink(for us its internet) no matter which of the 83 numbers you can call.even the techs that come out hate it..they have no records of anything about your problem when they get there, only that there's an issue even though those foreign call center folks say all the info is in the computer for them to see.they said their full of s***..we see no records just a work invoice on where to go.
I literally saw one of them spider-monkey ditch mowers on the side of the road about 6 streets away demolish one of them little green phone pole things with like 7 million wires in it(dunno how this dumb*** did that).those same "foreign" people said no issues reported..this was after 4 days of no internet.....I was livid fuming at the time...had to send them pics of the destruction..they still said no issues reported.i stopped 1 day on the way home and talked to the guy at the pole/box assessing the situation...he said there's over 3k diff.phone lines in here(each line has 6 wires i guess the guy said)...thats at least 3k peeps affected!!....no reported issues my a**!.he also said the county is gonna pay big time for this screw up.all in all we were out of internet for 10 days.centurylink(foreign peeps) tried to only give me credit for 4 days....I bit**ed and bit**ed...got 15 days credit....lol
I think I might of posted pics about this here before...I got CRS ....lol
Sorry I got a little long on "foreign" call centers but they burn me up something fierce

I agree. I am ready to replace my 2019 Longhorn 1500, and I have owned many Chrysler products over the years. But I am not about to pay $70+K for a vehicle with no customer service.
I bought a 2006 300C new and had an ongoing issue with the GPS. It took several visits to dealers to get the issue fixed; they just kept changing the unit while I was telling them that it was not going to fix it. I got great support from a lady in Customer Service, she talked to an engineer who said another dealer had a great electrician he had worked with before. They furnished me with a rental car since that dealer was 150 miles away. That technician found the problem before I got back home.
For my inconvenience, the lady gave me an extended warranty for free.
I am just putting off a purchase. Ford has major quality issues, and GM has engine issues. I need a pickup to tow my travel trailer so I will wait another year or two until I no longer tow a trailer and buy an SUV from whatever company builds something worth a damn. I sure hate to buy foreign.
And …how about Sharing WHO those contacts are…?? to help the rest of the community….and to lend praise to the helpful deity?

I've still never gotten a call from my 'case manager', despite being told repeatedly they would call me no later than (insert lie here).

Stellantis seems to think I'll just go away and passively wait like all the other customers waiting months for their vehicles due to mismanagement of supply chain issues. The dealership has already learned that not to be the case and that I don't tolerate lies very well. Incompetence, I can have patience with, but I hate a liar.

July 27th of what year? Remember the UConnect and drag link debacles.

I finally got a call from my case manager. Apparently US based. I'm not sure what good its done, still waiting an estimated 4 weeks for a transmission since nobody will authorize a cancelling of the backorder and getting one in stock at a different dealer or sending the existing transmission to a nearby dealership that has a tech qualified to rebuild it.

Folks buying warranties for "peace of mind" should pay attention to how much "peace of mind" I've gotten from being without the truck for months vs just paying the repairs out of pocket at a shop of my choice. Sunk costs, now, though, who knew the 'lifetime warranty' was this much of a PITA.

I’ve been of the opinion that one of my best days of owning my truck , was the day the warranty expired !

No more wondering if the repair will be covered.

No more wondering how long it will be until the parts arrive.

No more wondering if whatever the service writer said was 100% bs , or just 63% ?

No more leaving the truck for a repair “the next day” that turns into three weeks . Without the repair ever being completed.

No more leaving the dealership without feeling like I should shower with desleazer .

I felt that way already at 20k KMs when I said "oh well" and put proper oil in. I've paid out of pocket to avoid the dealer on some issues I had with brakes just because I knew they'd give me the run around with "can't replicate it" yada yada and I'd end up spending more time going back and forth. Transmission is a little costly to just walk away from though.

At this point the principle of it is as important to me. I have patience with a certain level of incompetence. I have much less patience for a lack of integrity. Honor your agreements, tell the truth. People **** up, I'm ok with that. Lie to me, though, and that's how you ratchet up my give AF meter.

I don't do the buy an extended warranty thing but, isn't there an option to cash out the remaining balance of the warranty value ?
If so, I would have taken that road and have a Trans shop rebuild the Trans with that refunded money. The time and aggravation isn't worth it to me.
I get it for @Docwagon1776 but for others in the future, is that not an option?

I don't know how the lifetime would be pro-rated. I will hold their feet to the fire and not let them have the win of cashing out, though, until I'm dead or the terms of the contract are otherwise satisfied (value of repair exceeds value of the vehicle, at which time they refund the purchase). It's now worth the time and aggravation to me because they irritated me.

This is the only extended warranty I bought, because of lifetime. I worked in the industry for 3 years before and hated how scammy it was.

I got a call the transmission had an ETA of July 28.

Then I got a call there was no ETA. I asked what happened to July 28 and they then called someone else and said the ETA is July 28.

At least they are calling now, I suppose.

ETA is now in early August.

I've worked my way up the chain to the CEO and his assistant. That's gotten me to the Executive Referral customer service folks, we'll see if they are more helpful than RamCares, who doesn't even know the information they've already provided me.
