With Ram sponsoring Yellowstone and rodeos etc., I think they need to put a Ranch Mode setting. It is the most aggravating thing in the world for the seat belt to ring non-stop. I get the safety stuff etc., but you could put software that automatically takes it out of ranch mode at 40mph or similar stuff. It actually has the reverse safety affect on me, as I always have a fake clip in the buckle to shut it up and then I have to remember to actually take it out and buckle up when I truly get out on the road. I also have to store the clip in the console and find it later when I need it again. Super simple feature that I bet would move some Ford and Chevy owners over. My 2007 just threw the light on the dash and didn't beep... that was awesome.

Swap that stupid fake clip out for a seatbelt extender and you can leave it attached all the time.

Here is a short video Seat Belt Minder on how to turn off the seatbelt minder. I know with my F150's I can turn them off for both front seats, and they will stay that way. I am not sure on my Ram if this is the same.

On my Jeep jk that I traded in to get my Ram there was a sequence of buckle/unbuckle the seatbelt that disabled the chime. The light still stayed lit up and when first starting it the jeep would chime as usual. Is there not a same procedure on our Rams?

Duh. @Mlarv5 just posted the procedure. Went back and watched his video link thinking it was ford related. @NonCents
