Filled with Javex bleach they did a better job, then melting ice/snow,lol.They worked good for about 1 winter before they died, lol. My old 68 had that option, but by the time i bought the car in 77,it was already dead,so it went in the garbage, about 20 years later i started kicking my rear for throwing it away,as even dead they bring some good money
Someone add it then, because it was a 69 only option. That is cool though that your car had it lol.

Some dealers were adding them to 68's up here,as it had been available over the counter since 67.It was like the dealer installed crossram intakes and headers, some cars apparently shipped with the intake and headers in the trunk of the early Z's,but for the most part they were dealer installed options

I have all of my nitrous hooked up, but I am waiting on some longer mounting bolts. I had cut a wooden block in so that it wouldn't touch the center console at shows. Ill have it hidden in the spare tire area when I am not showing. I did a really nice job of hiding it all under the hood and inside the car.

It's kind of like block heaters, now they aren't as common, but for years a block heater was always included in a Canuck vehicle.Lately though apparently some cars are coming through with-out a block heater, which makes me shake my head. My buddies 2018 wide body ScatPack Challenger is a 1 of 1 car because it came through with a block heater and all season tires, supposedly it's the only wide body with both

Y'all need it up there. Down here where I am at we might see a rough winter once every few years. We just have to deal with no seasons and summer 1/2 the year.

I had so called nitrous guru's go over my truck and never find the nitrous system, the only give away was the bottle pressure gauge on the pillar. Bottle was under an old suitcase behind the drivers seat, and nobody ever thought to lift it in an old guys truck, all the lines were disguised to look like factory lines. Was invited out to a street get together, and the truck sat for an hour with the hood open, and nobody ever spotted the nitrous on it,and when we went out to spot, somebody asked who all was spraying, and a couple guys made the comment they didn't think anybody was,i sure as hell wasn't gonna correct them, lol

If you're spraying much over a 100 shot,i'd seriously consider doing a seperate stand alone fuel cell dedicated to the nitrous. There's a bunch of benefits to a stand alone,as not only can you play with pills to dial in your A/Fr,you can really fine tune the A/Fr by adjusting fuel pressure on the stand alone cell, plus you can run race gas or E in the stand alone, and still run pump gas in the car, while at the same time, not stressing the cars stock fuel system.
I swear by running a seperate cell for the nitrous.I ran an under cowl set-up on the Challenger, but i'd never do it again,as it heated the fuel in the tank more then i liked, the trucks tank in the box was far superior

There was a local shop selling Godzilla pullouts for 1500 bucks. My buddy bought one for his Foxbody and it was clean when he took it apart. I will be interested to see if he actually goes through with putting it in there. He's a purist like me lol.

The spare tire is a great place to hide it since its behind a plastic panel. Who needs a spare it is part of weight reduction anyways lol. Mines all plumbed to where you can not see it under the hood. It looks 100% N/A. My activation switch is in the ashtray. Aw the good old days when car still came with those. I used the preset button on my stereo for the purge and activation since I only run xm through my phone and the volume is really the only thing that works with that lol.

Well since no one wants to take a stab at it. This was a 69 only option from Chevrolet. It was called liquid snow chain lol. It apparently is a very rare option. I have only seen one car ever with this option.
I read about those but I have never seen one installed in the wild nor at a show. What I read said people like to put traction compound in them.

Leave the purging for the guys on TV,not only does it waste nitrous,if you're under a 200 shot,it doesn't do squat to your timeslip.Plus your nitrous is at least 900+ psi, your fuel is at most 60 psi, which do you think is going to hit the cylinder first, and cause an instant lean condition. If you don't like your pistons purge,if you want to keep the engine alive longer and more money in your wallet don't purge.Stick a thermometer in your spare tire well and measure the temp it gets to in there, before you mount a bottle in the well.If you measure temps well above a 100,find a differant spot to mount the bottle,or come up with a way to insulate the bottle from the heat.Generally ideal bottle temp is between roughly 92 to 98 degrees,if you subject a full bottle to temps above a 100 for any length of time, you could have issues with it popping the burst disc's and dumping all your expensive nitrous inside the car.Trust me you'll only do that once,as it's very entertaining when a burst disc blows, been there/done that, lol.
Where are you mounting your bottle pressure /fuel pressure gauges and your A/Fr gauge, you'll definitely want a bottle pressure gauge so you can monitor your bottle pressure
