Last April I took the plunge and picked up an 1974 Bricklin with the gull wing doors. The reason I picked it up is that it is one of roughly 155 made with the American Motors (AMC) 360 V8 engine and 4 spd transmission. My shop, AZ AMC Restorations, specializes in restoring AMC cars so because the drivetrain, front suspension and brakes in the 74 Bricklin are pretty much the same as the 1974 Javelin and Hornet and the rear end is the same as the Hornet as well, we have the knowledge and had the parts to save this car. I am sure it would have been quite a bit cheaper to buy one that was already restored but my shop is all about saving unusual cars so this one is yet another car that we rescued from the dead. To date we have revived the engine, transmission, fuel and brake systems, all electrical components, fixed both door windows that were inoperable and installed a compressed air sytem upgrade that operates both the doors and headlights with a hidden air pump and storage tank. We also put on a newer set of tires to replace the 40 year old tires that were on it when I picked it up. The car still has a long way to go, including needing some body panel repairs, finished body work and a full paint job which we will finish up over the winter, but with each passing month it is getting closer and closer to being road worthy. It is a pretty cool and extremely rare car!

This Hemi powered ‘89 Dodge D150 hits different in a good way! We love seeing trucks like this as they are less common. Unfortunately the truck was totaled by another car after our shoot of it. Justin Reed has since replaced it but this moment in time was pure magic!

This is funny as hell

A man calls a company and orders their 5-day, 10 lb. weight loss program.
The next day, there’s a knock on the door and there stands before him a voluptuous, athletic, 19 year old babe dressed in nothing but a pair of Nike running shoes and a sign around her neck.
She introduces herself as a representative of the weight loss company.
The sign reads, “If you can catch me, you can have me.”
Without a second thought, he takes off after her.
A few miles later huffing and puffing, he finally gives up.
The same girl shows up for the next four days and the same thing happens.
On the fifth day, he weighs himself and is delighted to find he has lost 10 lbs. as promised.
He calls the company and orders their 5-day/20 pound program.
The next day there’s a knock at the door and there stands the most stunning and beautiful woman he has ever seen in his life.She is wearing nothing but Reebok running shoes and a sign around her neck that reads, “If you catch me you can have me.”Well, he’s out the door after her like a shot.
This girl is in excellent shape and he does his best, but no such luck.
So for the next four days, the same routine happens with him gradually getting in better and better shape.
Much to his delight on the fifth day when he weighs himself, he discovers that he has lost another 20 lbs. as promised.
He decides to go for broke and calls the company to order the 7-day/50 pound program.
“Are you sure?” asks the representative on the phone. “This is our most rigorous program.”
“Absolutely,” he replies, “I haven’t felt this good in years.”
The next day there’s a knock at the door; and when he opens it he finds a huge muscular guy standing there wearing nothing but pink running shoes and a sign around his neck that reads, “If I catch you, you are mine!!!”
He lost 63 pounds that week.

I thought it was a 70 to,i copied it off a Mopar page where they stated it was a 69

Definitely a 70, 68-69 had a distinct contour line along the quarters and front fenders. The grilles and tail panel were very different as well.

Set a lot of points in GM products using a matchbook cover bent over once, lol, did real good on my 67 L4 396. All I ever had in the car was pliers, Phillips and straight screwdrivers, hee hee.
