I recently bought a 2004 dodge ram 1500 quad cab slt 5.7 hemi as a mechanic special. i fixed a ton of stuff on it. but now an electrical problem.
Randomly will shut off when slowing down or applying brakes. Sometimes if i stop twice it'll do it. sometimes more than twice. but never if i stop once.
Never on normal driving, never on acceleration.
New battery alternator read fine on bench test. shutting off is not fuel related as I can pop it in neutral and turn the key and it starts right up.
clean shut off too. like only way you know is you hit the gas or turn the wheel and nothing.
fires up every single time no constant draw on battery etc.
any help is appreciated
