I feel like I could do it myself too but all I have is the jack that came with my truck and I’m pretty sure that won’t cut it plus all the tools needed I don’t have at my disposal

Man, those prices are outrageous! I did front springs/shocks and rear spacers to level/lift my 2wd truck. Changing out the spindles wouldn’t have taken much more time. Seriously, with a few tools (and new bigger jack/stands from HF) one could do it all in the garage in a day.

If you’re close, pay me half and I’d gladly accept the work! The shops are overpriced. Well at least to me.

Like I said, I don't know much about Rough Country, they seem to be on the low end for the most part.

If you’re mechanically inclined, have (or buy) a good set of wrenches, jack and stands, it is possible to do it in a garage. I’d be willing to guide you should you hit a snag. If you buy maxtrac, they are extremely helpful with phone tech support.

Once done, you will want an alignment which should run under $100. I bought a lifetime alignment from Firestone for $180. That way should I decide to go bigger, I’m covered as many times as I change my mind.

I am pretty handy I love tinkering and doing my own mechanic work. I’ll have to see if I can rent the tools/bigger jacks from an auto parts store, if not, I’ll bite the bullet and buy the tools. It’ll still probably be less than having someone install the lift. I will definitely take you up on the help offer I will definitely call on you should I ever go through with doing it myself
