Decided not to de-badge truck. I had all chrome emblems off but it looked too plain. However, I really don't like all the clutter of this year's RAM and 1500 underneath. Just looks too busy to me.

So I decided I'm going to try a white/black theme. I bought the black RAM, 1500 and Hemi emblems off eBay and installed just the RAM and Hemi badges in black. What do you think?? Yet to add tint and black chrome stockers which i think will complete the look.

Looks good!! I have the factory black ones on my orange ram, but I've always enjoyed that "clean" look so not sure they will stay or not...but they do look good!

Another twin! :)

Agreed! Looks good so far!

Ha ha.....thanks, just trying to put my "brand" on this truck. They're getting as popular as F-150's around here. Still may "strike" the emblems. It depends on the wheels. Had black chromes on my Durango, but maybe it's time for powder coated or? The hunt is on!!

Nice Durango! :)

I gotta ask you though...did you modify your headlights on the RAM?
Mine are black housings and yours appear to have chrome around the projectors?

Thanks re: the Durango. Hated to trade it, but truck is better for towing by far. Lights are stock, but there is chrome surrounding the projectors. Funny, I went on line to check other Sport models and they are black surrounds. Must have run out the day they built mine!

Re-badging my truck has been on my to do list for a while now, I have a lot to replace as I did it 360. How much did the black RAM badging run you if you don't mind me asking?

The RAM 1500 was $69.95 for both sides and Hemi emblems were $29.95. Got them on eBay.

So far these wheels are my favourite. So tempted, someone local is selling a set with tires for 1.5k. Can't justify it as of yet.

I'm thinking of buying these stockers in black chrome. For factory, they are really nice wheels, but 1.5k is a lot of coin, even with tires.

That's what I figured to fella. Even though he put up the pic with his truck and mileage showing low miles on tires etc. Even mentioning like some sellers do on how much they cost per rim from dealers. It don't matter as I'm not buying then from a dealers lol. I'm not that keen in chrome clad wheels to he honest. Prefer good old fashioned alloy wheels.

Odds are he'll come down in price. If I do straight out exchange, the black chrome version of these wheels is around $750 a set. I see a listing on eBay for those exact 20" black chrome wheels and brand new GY tires for $2,000 from Detroit Wheel.

Also nice mudflaps you got there, what are they? Any close ups. I ask as I recently installed some duraflaps on mine. I think I didnt install them correctly. How possibly can one go wrong doing mudflaps? I:roflsquared:

The front mudflaps on mine swing out.
