Ok first great site lots of info on it!

Second I am ready to start doing some mods. What I was thinking was cabin air filter(already ordered). Swapping out factory sub with something that is better would like to stay with either an 8 or a 10 I know a 10 is the best answer and will hit harder but I'm curious to see if there are any 8s that would even be a thought. Also would be to update the factory 430N I need to do the update not really a mod but I never received the letter nor the update CD from dodge and I've owned the truck since new BTW its a 2011 1500 Big Horn. Anyone in the Oklahoma City area have a CD I can use ??

I would also like to do something with the exhaust I've read a lot but it's like information overload to a point I've read true duel exhaust is good but others say its a waste. Same with CAI and tuners I like the trinity and the bully but I'm open to others as well

Also a leveling kit it's 4x4 nose dips in the front. I've read some kits don't level like they say and others raise the nose to high. Any brand get the job done with one shot one kill.

So lastly gas tank swap a couple have done it I just need the help of a small write up is it plug a play or do I have to swap out sending units and go to dealer and have them flash the system and is it wise to get one from junk yard or buy new?

Thanks for the help guys!

Welcome. I need to do the filter in my cabin as well. I work in very dusty conditions. I agree with the ones who think the dual exhaust is a waste if you're not going full out with mods. A single in dual out like the factory exhaust is sufficient in my opinion and can sound just as good. Trinity and Bully Dog are your only two options for a tuner. Custom tune for the DS and better canned tunes with the BD. CAI - S and B or Vararam either are very good. Good luck modding.......

I don't know if anyone on here has actually done a good true dual with an x-pipe, only two pipes straight back, which makes it not at all worth it, and like HLram said, unless going balls out on performance mods... Not worth it lol. I have a Volant CAI, and I really like it, but it seems the Vararam really corners the market on the best performer.

In the exhaust dept. you would probably be best, just doing a Y-Pipe, and a new muffler as the 3 in piping already flows quite well.

Also, have you considered a catch can for your baby?

What's up with the catch can I guess I missed that info. I will have to search it. I've had it on my older drag cars for obvious reasons. Do these motors have "blow by" that a can is needed? I mean if it can be useful and justified I'm all for it without question. If it is a good mod then it will prolly be a first cuz I have seen the garbage they really can collect even in new built motors and even older broke in motors both with and without power adders.

Thanks for the response fellas.

I will look into the Y pipe any specific one or fab one up?

The vararam is what I've kinda been looking at also the S&B as well.

Yeah, it's probably an inch or inch and a half. I had to look at pictures before and after to make sure they put it on. Haha. It is level, but not very tall. I will be getting a 2 1/2'' soon, just have been focusing more on the performance mods first. A couple more, then I'll get a taller leveling kit. I don't even know what brand they used. Maybe Mopar? I chose them to do it a couple weeks after buying the truck so they wouldn't give me any flack if it needed to be warranted for something.

There's a dealer here who will install levelling kits, 4 and 6 inch lifts, 35" Mickey thompsons, cat backs, head and tail lights, on brand new trucks with full warranty

yeah my dealer also sells lifted trucks. 1500's and 2500's too. On a side note about this thread, I emptied my catch can again today and it was three quarters full!! That's after probably a couple thousand miles. My oil never is low, I check it regularly. I run Amsoil. I idle ALOT at work and I do drive hard so this really should be the first mod he does I think. Or at least very soon after doing other mods.
