Can the 2011 ZF axle be swapped into a 2010 CC 1500? I’m wanting to change from a 3.21:1 to 3.92:1to have the 10250 lb towing capacity. I have everything else needed for that (max cooling, etc). The 2009/2010 axle assemblies are priced crazy stupid high. The 2011 axle are more reasonably priced at the yards around me.

I know that the brakes and u-joints are the same. The only question is if the spring perches moved or are different.

Also, Is there any difference between to 2010 and 2011 anti-spin differential as far as performance is concerned?

I'm certainly no expert on the interchange, so grain of salt ...

I'm not aware of any changes to the suspension mounting points so there should be no reason it won't bolt in.

I would do a little looking/checking about driveshaft length in case the pinion flange is in a different spot. Also of concern would be ABS tone ring count, that could be a real problem.
