Hey guys, I'm driving a 1998 v8 dodge ram 1500 SLT and I need to change the rear brake drums. The sound when I press the brake pedal is so ear piercing and embarrassing. In the front, I have brake disks but I have brake drums in the rear. I've noticed that the sound that the embarrassing stopping noise is coming from the brake drums in rear. I want to just buy whole new break drums for both wheels off of Amazon. I have a few buddies who have all the necessary tools complete such a task. Now, here are my questions:

1) Would I be able to just buy any brake drum of my choice and have it put on? or is there a specific brand that only fits my model?

2) Is the process of removing the original brake drum and replacing it with the new brake drum as simple as taking off the bolts holding it in place and sliding it off?

I've searched on youtube for such a tutorial video and they make it sound just that easy.

3) What brand/type of brake drum would you guys recommend that is relatively cheap?

I appreciate the help guys.
