Rear cam help

I installed a rear view cam today I did see picture but it wasn't good because the reverse lights stayed on in park lmao. That was when I splice into the reverse light since then no picture. I have a Pioneer 4600BT and I am using the axxess xsvi-6522-nav harness kit. Hooked everything up like it should for the radio/harness. Now in the picture should that red wire with the video cable connect to the pig tail and at the radio end red wire hook up to the reverse signal wire which is currently connected to the box in the xsvi harness.

on your 6522 harness there is a reverse wire use that.

the red wire is the power wire that goes from the metra harness to the cam. you will also have to make sure you hook up the camera trigger from the pioneer to the 6522 also.

Ok so right now I have the reverse trigger wire hooked up to the correct wire of the 6522, so what your saying is to tie the red wire into the red wire running into the video wire and then at the radio tie that wire into the one that is already connected to the reverse trigger and xsvi box.

so the pioneer reverse wire goes directly to the 6522?

for the cam i would make i turn on with the ignition and not the reverse that way its focus clears up before you put it in reverse.

therefore take the red wire with the rca and tap it into the red wire off the back of the pioneer. run that red wire with the rca to the cam. plug the rca into the rca on the cam, hook the red wire up to the red wire on the plug (nothing else connected to it), ground the black.

Yes I will attach the instructions. Everything is hooked up like it shows with the red wire of the rca at HU hooked into the power wires of the HU

I just ran a wire from the remote wire to the camera. Works like a champ.

Thanks I receive some help from another tread also if that doesn't work I will just run a test wire before routing it through thank you though
