I have a 2022 1500 Limited that came with the digital rear view mirror and I have a couple questions:
1. Just because I have the digital mirror does not mean I have the connection for a rear camara? I don’t see a connection on the bumper.
2. If I could make the connection why would I buy a Ram camera and wiring for $600+ and then have to run a wire from the camera on the back of a trailer to the bumper as opposed to buying a non-OEM camara like a Haloview for $400 and have a wireless connection and a 7” screen in the cab?
I understand not having a 7” screen on the dashboard is less clutter but not sure that balances out the extra cost and wiring.

My 23 Limited has provisions for 2 additional auxillary cameras on the center screen. But I’m not sure where the connection points are to plug them in. I guess you have been through the manual thoroughly?

Yeah, $600 sounds pretty pricey. Have you googled a plug in RAM trailer camera?. It might be like the factory flip down bed step. I bought the same exact step that RAM offers, on Amazon for about 1/3 the Mopar option price.

Here is one a little cheaper. Might be better deals out there.

Wireless camera systems mounted on the back of, in my example an RV, don't work or work poorly. My fifth wheel came with a rear-mounted wireless camera but it did not work well, dropping video or no video at all. I think there was too much interference in between the camera and the cab for the signal to make it. I'm sure experiences will vary depending on the type and size of trailer but just be aware this could be an issue.
