Since the rear differential is the lowest part of our trucks I’m looking for a skid plate to protect it. Searched online but didn’t find anything. Anyone know of a company that makes em?

I’m not concerned about backing over stuff. I drive on a lot of BLM roads that often have very uneven terrain, dips, washouts, and occasional rock slides. I’m raised 3” and already have the 3 Mopar skid plates but the rear differential sits about 9” off the ground.

Any decent welding shop should be able to fab you up something for the rear diff if you're worried about it,and can't find a pre-made skid plate

Edited: never mind i see Kad already posted the same link per post#2

I'm also interested in an actual steel cover and not the bigger alum ones with fins.
Not sure how much protection we'll get from the Cranium thing but i'll figure it has to better than having nothing. My rear diff sits at 10 3/4" from the ground. in only have a 2" rear lift, but i'm running 37's so ground clerance is increased from the differentials.

I put a purple cranium on my front diff. I’ve smacked it a few times already. Powder coat chips. No bending no real damage. The do make diff/pinion guards for jeeps and I’ve seen the Colorado’s have it in their off-road package. Nothing I’ve seen for rams yet. Source a local fab shop. FWIW I’ve never had too many issues with the rear hitting. It hits other stuff before the diff. But I watch my lines also.
