Long story short, all of my blue accent lights on my rear doors are not working. This includes the door handles and light tubes above the map pockets. I'm getting fault number B17A5 so I'm not sure if it is one of the bulbs or another issue.

Googling the fault number returns the following:
Make:
Jeep
Code:
B17A5-11
Definition:
Halo Lamps Control-Circuit Short To Ground
Cause:
  • (M5) Ambient Lamp Driver Circuit Shorted To Ground
  • Left Or Right Map Pocket Lamp
  • Left Or Right Door Handle Lamp
  • Cupholder Lamp
  • Body Control Module (Bcm)
Failure Type:
Circuit Short To Ground

If I need bulbs, what are the part numbers for the four lights I need for both rear doors? I have a 2015 Ram 3500 Longhorn Laramie Crew Cab.

Hello,
I would need your VIN please to specify this. Note the handle LED's are sold with the handle release bezel

Did you ever find out your solution?? I’m having the same issue as we speak. In my situation, everything was working until my truck went in for hail damage repair.. I no longer have cupholder lighting or rear ambient door lighting. I show the same DTC Code short to ground. I have a 2016 RAM 2500 Laramie Crew Cab. Any information would be helpful! It looks like we’re the only ones that have/had this issue :(
