Rear End Collision

I'd like to thank to other driver who wasn't paying attention to the traffic and drove right into the rear of my 1500. Sure I have nothing better to do than file insurance paperwork and send the 2 month old truck into the body shop.

Fortunately no one was hurt and parts can be replaced....but really...get your head out of your A$$ and drive responsible.

New bumper in my future, I think the Ram won the battle vs the Nissan Altima.

Check out the angle of the tailpipe vs the bumper. It should be straight out but the right side of the bumper is pushed in

Good to hear no one got hurt, my first and only accident was when I was rear ended too 2 totaled cars and yukon bumper was wrecked

Ironically, I just read a statistic today that 86% of people rate themselves as better then average drivers.... presumably, when they are not texting

I had a guy in an F150 back into my truck this past weekend. Put a dent in my bumper right above the tailpipe. HE HAD A BACKUP CAMERA and he still hit my truck... SMH
$902 was the estimate.

I don't think it's the pipe that is bent, the rear bumper is pushed in on the passenger side. Hopefully it is mostly cosmetic damage, but I did notice the vertical tailgate gap on the passenger side is now narrower than the gap on the drivers side. So will have to see Monday when I go for the estimate.

I just received a call from other drivers insurance company so at least he had insurance.

get the claims done, get paperwork settled and then crawl under and loosen bolt on exhaust tip, straighten it out. Unless pipe itself is bent?

I hadn't owned my truck for 24 hrs yet when some dope hit me at a light. Luckily, no damage, as his front license plate hit the hitch, and he wasn't going fast.
