Hey guys. I need some help on this one. 2006 Ram 2500 5.7 2 wheel drive 3.73 LSD. Runs, drive, and shifts fine. 163K miles. I'm getting a thumping sound from the rear end area. I would swear it was tire noise. Worse when it's cold. It's a whomping or thumping sound that increases in frequency with acceleration. Let off the gas - it completely goes away. Decelerate with brakes - it comes back. I jacked it up, both wheels spin freely, no dragging or brakes hanging up. But I would swear it's tire noise. Tires are practically new. Zero wear. Ugh. Thank you in advance for any insight on this one.

Mine foes that it's a 2004 1500 4x4, my lear driver side flunks every now and then I think it's from the shocks, as I aired up my air bags and it went away lol
