Rear End

this may be better suited for the towing and hauling sector, but I was wondering how you determine what rear end you have? I have an 05 ram 2500 2wd with hemi. ive heard to check the "tag" and the rear end but I don't have one or just plain cant find it. im trying to do a rear diff service but I want to make sure im using the correct gear oil. thanks for any help!

With the cover off you can readily see what unit you have.

Try looking in your glovebox to see if the options sticker is still there (provided your gears haven't been changed).
