Rear Headliner Area Speakers

What are these for. I have never felt a vibration when touching them or as far as I can tell ever heard any sound coming from them. Thanks

They are 2.5" Tweeters. If you put your ear to them, you should be able to hear sound coming from them, not a lot though and only for the high frequencies.

Do you have to take the headliner down to change them?

I believe so. From what i read there not worth changing, just swap the read door speakers to a 2ohm infinity or jbl 6x9 which have actual tweeters built into them.

No. You just remove the grills carefully.

I replaced mine with Massive Audio speakers using custom 3d printed adapters.
