Besides being quieter, what exactly will this do for me? I have a bt 2/4.5 and stock swaybar. On my mustang i had a gt500 rear sway installed with adj endlinks. They set it up so that the car would transfer better and it did wonders to my 60'.

It gives you the ability to level your sway bar... If you adjust the swaybar more or less aggressive, you can adjust the endlinks so it's always level.

But what does a level swaybar do for me? Does it ride better? Handle better?

It works as intended. The the rear of the truck it wont make much of a difference with bump steer, but the sway bar will be effective. With the sway bar being unlevel to the ground it work work to its potential

Quick question . I am thinking about the GF 2/3 kit for my 2014 express 4x4 reg. cab . If I were to go with these end links would it eliminate the drilling step on install when using the stock swaybar ? In other words after truck is lowered use these in stock mounting point and adjust swaybar level ? If so which size should I get ? On another note after install do you guys recommend replacing front end links as well ? If so what part# end links do I need ? If I to do it I want to do it right .. I like the idea of not having to drill my truck if I don't have to .. Thanks -Gary

No squeak in the end links or swaybar, but I got a squeak somewhere else now... It's a little one that I can hear now and then when I hit big bumps at slow speeds. I think I am gonna get under there within some silicone spray and have some jump up and done in my bed.

Went ahead and ordered a set to try, they have to be better than what I have.

Cool, definitely and upgrade worth the couple bucks. My swaybar is perfectly level, I am not talking about to the eye, I am talking with a level, lol!

Thanks David, I can hear my rearend squeak when I go up my driveway turing in, drives me NUTS! It didnt do that until I lowered. So I knew it had to be the Belltech something, or Hellwig rear sway bar.
Glad this may be the cure.
So you say leveled, wheel to wheel level?

Hopefully, it cures your squeak... :)

By level, I was referring to the swaybar being level to the ground.

Suspension Stabilizer Bar Link Kit Rear Mevotech MS25886 | eBay

I found these on RockAuto.com. I got two for $44.80 shipped. I am just going to cut/weld them to fit in the intermediate hole of the Hellwig sway bar. Obviously I won't be able to change position with the end links though.

~edit:I am doing the Mcgaughys leveling springs in the rear. So just a two inch drop. When I bought my Ram new it didn't have a sway bar.

Just wanted to post this here, too.

I pulled my Hellwig end links and replaced them with these: DTP02043 PowerWagon Swaybar Links

Definitely zero noise from the sway bar now. The popping going in and out of driveways is gone, too.

The holes need to be drilled bigger to accommodate the 9/16" bolts on the Heim joints. Fyi, drilling the sway bar is a *****, that thing is made with some seriously hard steel!

Now that is what I had expected from Hellwig. Thanks for sharing, I'll be ordering myself a set when I get back from my temporary assignment.

You will love the quality of these things. Not cheap, but worth it. Once you install them you can adjust them on the truck.

The Hellwigs have too much play and hence the popping sounds... The bolt is too narrow for the Hellwig sway bar and it's metal on metal when you go up a driveway.
When I drilled out the holes for these 9/16" bolts I used a 17/32" bit and then gradually widened the holes, while constantly checking for a tight fit. The bolts are in with zero play, I had to push them in a with a little force.

My track bar is next. ;)

Looks good, I have one question with angles and alignment of the link and your thoughts and opinion.. With the swaybar being level to ground, does it matter the angle of the Link to sway bar? wouldn't perpendicular to sway bar be the best? Just curious before I throw some billet in the lathe and fab up my own cause it seems there isn't a exact fit produced. been pushing designs and measurements around in my head and just want to make sure I factor in all the "best" into the design.

Borrow a little from the crawler 4x4 world of fab, these guys have all you need to fab up your own links
http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/ there is also Blue torch fab. So if you can weld you can make your own for not tooooo much $$

Here is more info: DTP02043 PowerWagon Swaybar Links

No problems at all. Just make sure you get the right length for the setting you will be running...
