Looking for how to replace sway bar links and upper control arms?

Steps to remove the upper control arms:

1) Raise and support the vehicle with a suitable lift or jack and jack stands. Make sure the jack stands are on the frame rails.

2) Support the rear axle with a suitable holding fixture (I use my floor jack and do one side at a time.)

3) Carefully unsnap the lower end of the height sensor level arm from the ball stud (2) of the lower control arm with a small screwdriver.

4) Remove the upper control arm to axle bolt and nut (3), discard the nut and bolt.

5) Remove the upper control arm to frame bolt and bolt (1), discard the nut and bolt.
Remove the upper control arm from the vehicle.

I know the steps say to discard the nuts and bolts but I do reuse them when I have nothing else. I recommend going to your local hardware store and sourcing new Grade 8 bolts and nuts and make sure the nuts are either nyloc nuts or a style of locking nut.

Steps to install the upper control arms:

NOTE:
The small bushing attaches to the axle and the large bushing to the frame.

NOTE:
Torque all suspension fasteners with the vehicle on the ground at ride height.

1) Position the upper control arm to the vehicle.

2) Install a new upper control arm to frame bolt with a new nut (1). Do not tighten at this time.

3) Install a new upper control arm to axle bolt (3) with a new nut. Do not tighten at this time.

4) Align the height sensor link with the ball stud (2) on the lower control arm. Press the link socket over the ball stud until it snaps into position.

5) Remove the holding fixture (jack/jack stands) supporting the axle.

6) Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

7) Position the vehicle where it is level and at ride height so you can torque the fasteners.

8) Tighten the upper control arm to axle bolts/nuts to 148 ft-lbs + 90° turn

9) Tighten the upper control arm to frame bolts/nuts to 148 ft-lbs + 90° turn.

The removal of the sway bar links is very simple. Remove the nut trim the sway bar link where it attaches to the sway bar then remove the bolt and nut where the sway bar link attaches to the frame of the truck.

Install in reverse order and torque the frame bolt to 55.5 ft-lbs and torque the nut at the sway bar to 79 ft-lbs.

I do it right on the ground just like my Jeeps . You just do one at a time . If something ever moves I simply put one foot on the tire and push . That will move the mount slightly to align the bolt holes . Nothing to it really .

Is this for the rear

Yes, this is for the rear (note the photo - looks like the right side rear). The rear ones go from the axle to the frame. The fronts are over and under the coil spring and attach to the steering knuckle.
