1st post by a new owner of a 2015 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn Crew Cab 4X4. I'm installing a "Rear View Camera System Setup With Trailer Tow Quick Connect/Disconnect Kit" for the back of my travel trailer. My 7" monitor will be a "cup mount" on the center console. I would like to run the 1/4" video/audio/power cable into the bottom of the center console and tie into the 12VDC socket there. What is the best route or path for the cable from the rear bumper to the bottom of the console? I noticed what look like plastic knockouts by the rear seat floor or do I need to route all the way through the firewall? Appreciate any guidance.

What I've done in the past, there is one under the passenger seat that is fairly easy to get to. Remove the stock jack and plate, Pull up the plastic rocker panel cap. From underneath the truck push up on the plastic piece as far as u can than reach under the carpet and pull it out. Drill a hole feed your wire through and use caulk to seal it back up(do it after everything is done)

If you don't want to drill any holes another option is the vents on the cab back. You will have to remove the inner cab back trim panel. I brought mine in thru the left side vent, then went under the seats to the front cup holder.
