I just spend some time on the phone with the Uconnect people because of some issues with Bluetooth pairing of my phone and they gave me a procedure to reboot/clear the system that might be of some assistance.

Here you go:

With the vehicle on/running push and hold the phone and voice buttons for at least 30 secs
Let go and turn the vehicle off
Open the driver's door
Close the driver's door
Restart the vehicle

This should delete the device/phone from the truck's system and could help with some connectivity issues. You'll know you did it right if the system has to load your "contacts" again. For me this took a few minutes but I have a couple hundred contacts so it may be more or less.

I learned my phone Samsung Galaxy S4 running
Android 4.3 has not been tested/approved by Uconnect just yet which is likely why I'm having some issues. They are working on it constantly and should catch up with the new phones shortly.

My issue is inconsistent notification through the system of text messages.

Anyway, I'm thinking this reset procedure may be of some value to others finding the thread on a search.

Overall, the Uconnect people were very accessible and helpful. I waited less than 30 seconds to get a live person (that even spoke English :) ) and he was very helpful.
