I got a $28 LED bed lights kit on Amazon.
Two 5ft self-adhesive strips, wiring and switch.
Lights the whole bed bright white.
Never considered under-truck lights, the rice grinders here use them on their lowered 4cyl golf carts.

Look up BoostedMotorsports on YT. He did a video on a bed kit that looked good.

I bought a 16 foot roll off amazon. I got the waterproof ones and have them inside in the footwell and also outside the truck. They come on with the puddle lights when I open or unlock the truck. I did however use spray adhesive as an extra precaution on the ones under the truck. Had them on for a year or so now and never had a problem. The only issue is if you don’t get under there and clean them occasionally they can get pretty dirty and start to reduce output.
